Trustee Role

To contribute to the strong governance of Northern Ireland Hospice, working at a strategic level to ensure that the organisation meets its charitable objectives. To deliver the duties and responsibilities of a Company Director as set out in the Companies Act(s) and those of a Trustee, as required by law and the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.


Experience Required

• Experience of working at a senior management or governance level. This can be in the voluntary, public or private sectors.
• Experience of operating at a strategic level, including strategic planning and development.
• Experience of working in an Estates / Facilities field, ideally in a leadership position with an in depth knowledge of high quality Estates Management, in particular, Health and Safety, contractor Management, Gas Management, Water Management and Fire Management.
