TRANSFORM YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER - L/Derry

Youth Initiatives specialises in outreach youth work and builds vibrant youth communities in areas of social need. 

Youth Initiatives NI, in partnership with Youth Link NI and Mencap seek to deliver “Transform” as part of the four-year SEUPB Peace IV Regional Children and Young people’s programme to “enhance the capacity of young people to form positive and effective relationships with others from a different background and make a positive contribution to building a cohesive society”.

The Youth Initiatives’ Transform project will work with 20-25 young people from L/Derry. Transform builds on YI’s five-phase outreach methodology and connects young people to a transformative personal development youthwork programme.

Youth Initiatives seeks a Youth Support Worker who has excellent communication skills, familiarity with a relationship-based youth work model, ability to quickly develop inter-community working relationships and has experience in outreach youth work in areas of socio-economic need.
