NCB is a children’s charity. We have been given money by the National Lottery Community Fund to support other organisations who work with children and young people. We are offering a part-time paid internship to a young person to join our team.

In partnership with the National Lottery Community Fund and facilitated by our LINKS programme, the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) offers a part-time paid internship to enable young people to join our team. This internship is offered on a 6 month fixed term basis and allows young people to gain relevant workplace skills and experience.

This opportunity is open to young people aged 16 – 24 years who are interested in gaining valuable work experience in a children’s charity. The position is for a duration of 6 months, working 14 hours per week.

For the duration of the internship, the Trainee Project Assistant will have a supervisor in the organisation. This person will make sure that the Trainee Project Assistant is assigned suitable work tasks to complete and that they understand how to complete these work tasks. The Trainee Project Assistant will also be assigned a mentor from the NCB team, who is available to talk to and who will help to ensure that both enjoyment and learning are gained form the internship.
