Technology Presenter - Volunteer

We need volunteers who are: 

• Aged 18 years or over
• Knowledgeable about technology that can support deaf children and young people, and able to provide demonstrations
• Willing to speak to audiences in a variety of settings

What you will do:

• Deliver pre-prepared presentations effectively and as agreed by us
• Adapt your presentation delivery style to meet the needs of families
• Create an open environment where families have fair opportunities to contribute
• Answer questions that families may have about technology or signpost where appropriate

We provide free volunteer training, and have an upcoming training event on 30 November - 1 December in Belfast. The training is a chance for volunteers to improve and practice their presentation skills, as well as meet other volunteers in the area.
