The Cedar Foundation require a Team Leader to lead the shift, ensuring staff give support that follows individual’s care plans and personal support plans.

The Cedar foundation deliver a range of services that enable people with disabilities to get the most out of life and to be fully included in their communities. Our services are centred around the individual needs of each person and are delivered throughout Northern Ireland.


The Team Leader will enable clients who have learning disabilities and associated conditions, to pursue a valued lifestyle by supporting them with personal care as well as with social, emotional, spiritual & daily activity needs.  The Team Leader will mentor & supervise the Support Team.

 

Hours:                                    30 hours per week plus evenings, weekends & sleep in’s

Contract:                               Permanent

Location:                               Mourneview Court, West Belfast Living Options

Hourly Rate:                         £15,724.80 per annum + sleep in payments £10.08 per hour

Essential:                              

  • Numerate and literate to keep records, handle clients finance, maintain records and write records.
  • NVQ 3 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent or willing to attain a Level 3 QCF qualification
  • Two years’ previous experience in a human services setting providing support/care
  • Experience of working in partnership with service users, parents, health care professionals, carers, advocates and other agencies
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis on an as required basis that includes unsocial hours and weekends and sleep ins.
  • Good working knowledge of IT, specifically Microsoft Word & Outlook
  • A commitment to inclusion, evidenced through work practice or personal experience
  • Registered N. Ireland Social Care Council if not registered must do so on successful application (NMC if nurse qualified)
