The Team Leader will provide shift leadership to support workers, and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality person centred service. They will provide direct support to individuals and to staff to ensure best practice is promoted.
Essential Criteria
- At least two years' experience of supporting people within a social care setting including knowledge of the principles of supported living.
- Minimum 2 years' experience of supervising staff including ability to coach and mentor team members.
- Experience of working in a team
- Flexibility to be part of a rota of staff support, working unsociable hours and sleepover shifts
- A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business purposes* to transport people supported OR A full valid driving licence* in order to meet the requirement to drive Motability cars
*this criteria is waived for candidates unable to meet it due to disability
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with families and external HSCT colleagues
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
