Support Workers - Province Wide

In these unprecedented times, many employers no longer have work to offer their staff. In Positive Futures, our challenge is different: we need to ensure that we continue to deliver our essential services to the people we support. Can you help us do this?
What would I be doing?
Our Support Workers support adults in their own homes to live empowered, independent lives. A typical day might include helping them plan and prepare a meal, complete some household chores, or engaging in a hobby. You may also be supporting with medication, financial management and personal care. The Job Description provides more information.
Do I need previous experience?
Full training is provided. You do not need any previous formal experience – we need people who are caring, kind, compassionate and patient. Any experience that you may have in supporting a family member with anything from household tasks to emotional support will be helpful. You will have gained valuable skills in any customer facing role – communication, problem solving, team working etc. These are all relevant to providing support to people.

We have services all over Northern Ireland, specifically:
- Belfast
- Bangor
- Portavogie
- Lisburn
- Omagh
- Lisnaskea
- Cookstown
- Magherafelt

What contracts and shift patterns are available?
We provide support on a 24 hour basis meaning we can offer a variety of working patterns and types of contracts. We have full time, part time and relief positions available.
