we are currently recruiting for Support Workers who will work as part of a community whose purpose is to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of individuals. This position will involve working in the Craft/Arts Workshop

Title of Post: Support Worker - Ref: 20/48/CWSW/WEB

Location: Adult Workshops/ Day Opportunities

Salary/Hourly Rate: £18,782 per annum pro rata - 1st point on a 5 point scale 

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 9am to 5pm weekdays

Closing Date:  4pm - 14th December 2020

Length of Contract: Permanent

 

Education/Training/Qualifications: 

 

NVQ level II or equivalent in Health and Social Care or associated discipline (This Criteria will be waived where the candidate has at least 12 months relevant experience in a day opportunities/social care setting)

Basic numeracy and literacy (English language) skills

Experience:

At least six months experience in a caring and / or educational support field

Specialist Knowledge & Skills:

Ability, experience, knowledge and/or an interest in Arts and Crafts.

Effective communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Caring & reliable
