Support Worker 5036 PP

We are recruiting a 25hr Support Worker for our Support at Home service based in Lurgan.

This post is for evenings and every other weekend. Applicants must have full access to their own car for the position.

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you’ll provide a high level of care and support to people in their own homes, enabling them to live the life they choose. You’ll assist with daily tasks including personal care, medication and assistance at mealtimes, motivating and encouraging choice and participation.

Experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant is desirable but not essential as we offer an excellent training and induction programme to get you fully trained in your new role! You must be compassionate, creative and love working with people and able to travel to cover work allocated on the rota. Also to be registered with NISCC - we will help you to work towards this if not registered already.
