Support Volunteer to Living Well Moyle Coordinator - NEW ROLE (Ballycastle, Bushmills, Armoy, Cushendall)

The Living Well Moyle service aims to;

• positively change the lives of people living with long-term health conditions
• enhance their wellbeing and quality of life
• increase their independence and social connectivity
• help them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations
• bolster the skills, experiences and resources within the voluntary,community, health and social care sectors in the Moyle area including people in the local community.

We aim to match all service users who need additional support with a volunteer as soon as possible. Due to high demand, some service users may be placed on waiting list.

The Support volunteer will provide floating support to our service users who are waiting to be matched with a longer term volunteer by;

• reducing isolation and loneliness by maintaining contact with service users in an interim period
• supporting service users with any immediate needs
• reporting any concerns about service users
• supporting the Living Well Moyle Coordinator
