Student Support Mentor - Register

Qualifications / Experience

·         Hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in an appropriate subject (e.g. Education, Care etc.)

·         Applicants must hold GCSE English Language (Grades A-C) OR Essential skills level 2 or higher in Communication, or equivalent

·         Applicants must hold GCSE Mathematics (Grades A-C) OR Essential Skills Level 2 or higher in Application of Number, OR NICATS Access Maths Modules

·         Have a minimum of 12 months’ experience of working one to one with young people or adults in a supportive or post-primary educational environment

·         Recent experience providing support to young people or adults with additional needs e.g. those with a disability or from a background of disadvantage
