Northern Ireland Alternatives wishes to recruit the following post:
- START Co-ordinator for Greater Shankill Alternatives
· Start is a 3-6 month employability, training and personal development programme
· Funded by European Social Fund (ESF) and Department for the Economy, and delivered in partnership with Include Youth, Give & Take Start improves the employability and increases the self-esteem and confidence of young people aged 16-24, who are not ready to take part in a training course, attend college or move into work.
· This post is funded to 31st March 2022
This post requires the following:
- A 3rd level qualification in a related field
- 4 years’ experience working with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
OR
- A relevant Youth work qualification or equivalent plus 5 years' experience working with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people
AND
- 2 years’ experience in the delivery of group work programmes
- An understanding of restorative practices
