Social Media Designer and Video Producer
Thriving Life Church
As we continue to invest in our online experience and pursue a new model of “digital church”, we are opening the search for a Social Media and Video Producer to join our team. This role is essential to making our overall online strategy a reality every week.

The job duties will include:
- Manage all technical aspects of video, including cameras, sound, lighting, design, etc.
- Handle all aspects of post-production processes.
- Produce creative video content including animation and motion graphics.
- Plan, direct, and shoot video content for Church Online at Sunday service.
- Direct camera crews and set up multiple cameras for live recording content.
- Work with and direct on-camera talent, including service Leaders / Hosts, Teaching Team, Staff, Musicians, and other service components.
- Assemble all raw footage and edit /upload videos/photos and graphics for all Church Online services as well as social media, including Facebook / Instagram and Youtube. Understanding the important role that social media plays in communication of our message.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of volunteers to facilitate and oversee all aspects of video, including a schedule of video shoots throughout the week.
- Contributing creatively to the department head meetings, bringing new ideas and pulling on current trends to produce original and creative content for our social media platforms.

Essential Criteria:
- Proficient in photo editing skills using Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom and/or Photoshop (or equivalents)
- Proficient video editing skills (using Premiere, After effects and Final Cut Pro), being able to use video already captured to create engaging social media content for story reels etc.
- Experience in taking graphic design projects from a brief to completion working with feedback and ensuring the final design fulfils the requirements of the brief.
- Experience in designing a wide range of projects from, event promotion cards to social media graphics and longer printed materials.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge of building and strengthening teams and motivating them to meet a goal.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, in a fast-paced, quick-turnaround environment.
