Sessional Worker (Children & Youth Programme)
Harmony Community Trust / Glebe House
At Harmony Community Trust we are recruiting sessional workers, on a casual basis to help facilitate youth programmes with various groups of children and young people ranging in ages from 7-17 years old.
As a sessional worker, you will be responsible for providing an inclusive, safe and fun environment through leisure activities, play schemes and educational workshops designed to address the needs of the young people.
Essential
- Experience in working directly with children and young people.
- Ability to Plan and Facilitate activities for children and young people aged between 7-17 years old.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
- Ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with children and young people.
- Flexible - to adapt to changing circumstances
- Access to a car or other means of transportation is essential to fulfil the job role.
Desirable
- Experience in any of the following; youth work, social work, play work, childcare or other relevant fields
Other information
This is a non-fixed hours role and require post holders to be flexible.
Shifts will include Saturday day-sessions and mid-week afternoon/evening sessions.
