Positive Futures is Northern Ireland’s leading learning disability, acquired brain injury and autistic spectrum condition charity.  We currently employ over 600 people throughout the island of Ireland.  The Crescent Supported Living Service supports 11 individuals and with new referrals we are growing.  We are looking for:

Male* Senior Support Workers 
Based in Belfast
Full time and Part Time contracts (varied shifts to include evenings and weekends)
Salary of up to £19,909

Female* Senior Support Workers 
Based in Belfast
Full time and Part Time contracts (varied shifts to include evenings and weekends)
Salary of up to £19,909

You will:

  • Support people to live the lives they want in their own homes
  • Work in a team to deliver support on a 24 hour shift schedule
  • Take part in Person Centred Supervision and Appraisal with Line Manager and carry these out with Support Workers
  • Take responsibility as "Shift Leader" offering advice / guidance to other staff as required

What we need you to have:

  • At least 2 years' experience of supporting people within a social care setting
  • Experience of: 
    • assessment, development and implementation of Person Centred Care / Support Plans
    • using behaviour management strategies
    • assessing/managing risk
