We have the following vacancies at our Ards Peninsula Supported Living Service in Portavogie

Senior Support Worker
37.5 hours per week
£16, 320 - £18, 360 per annum

You will
• Support people to live the lives they want in their own homes
• Work in a team to deliver support on a 24 hour shift schedule
• Take part in Person Centred Supervision and Appraisal with Line Manager and carry these out with Support Workers.
• Take responsibility as “Shift Leader” offering advice / guidance to other staff as required.

You will have
• At least 2 years’ experience of supporting people within a social care setting
•   A full, valid driving licence and access to a car insured for business purpose* in order to transport the people we support
• Experience of:
-assessment, development and implementation of Person Centred Care / Support Plans
-using behaviour management strategies
-assessing/managing risk

* This criteria is waived for candidates unable to meet it due to disability.
