Early Years – the organisation for young children wish to recruit a Senior Early Years Specialist to work in Northern Ireland and the Southern Border Counties.

The Senior Early Years Specialist will:

  • be responsible for the delivery, co-ordination, programmatic development and quality assurance of the Sharing from the Start programme in one or more of the four partnership areas and across the preschool sector in Northern Ireland and in the border counties of Ireland.  
  • promote and support the development of early years settings demonstrating a strong commitment to improvement and the ability to respond to expectations of the sector relating to outstanding practice with a focus on clear, timebound evidence demonstrating sustained and high level improvements to practice and / or leadership of a setting.  
  • demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all the services provided by the Organisation and to settings through specialist, highly effective and timebound support provided focusing on high quality learning and care for children, families and communities. 
  • support governance arrangements in all Early Years setting.

Sharing from the Start is a project supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
