Oxfam is a global movement of people who won’t live with the injustice of poverty. Together we save lives and rebuild communities when disaster strikes. We help people build better lives for themselves. We speak out on the big issues that keep people poor, like inequality and discrimination against women.
In our Oxfam Shop Lurgan we are an enthusiastic team, we volunteer locally but have a global impact and we are proud of what we do. By joining the Oxfamily you will have the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills and gain experience in a wide range of areas of retail; all while making a difference to people's lives across the world that need your help.
You don't need to be an expert just willing to learn, be a team player and assist our fantastic customers. We will provide the training you need as well as the fun and friendship to keep you coming back. You will find below the key tasks our volunteers get involved in during a typical shifts Please review full volunteer role description attached for more detail on what we offer and how to apply.
