Re:Model: We're looking for an external evaluator

Thrive

Policy & Research
We have partnered with Arts & Business NI to deliver a National Lottery Heritage Fund project called Re:Model and we're looking to appoint an external evaluator.

Arts & Business NI and thrive are excited to be partnering on the National Lottery Heritage Fund supported project, Re:Model. We’re looking to appoint an external evaluator for the duration of the project and are now accepting tenders.

What is Re:Model?

Re:Model is a two-years business support programme for those who work in the NI heritage sector; it’s aimed at challenging how they think and work within their role. It isn’t your traditional training programme and will offer a range of workshops, one-to-one sessions and networking meetings. Re:Model will benefit its participants but also the wider sector as it will include research to provide resources and tool-kits when the programme ends.

What are we looking for?

The successful supplier will work with the project team to:

  • Develop an evaluation and data collection framework.
  • Create and deliver the most appropriate methodology to evaluate Re:Model over the two-year period of the programme. This should include some suggestion as to the metrics necessary to evidence the outcomes, and be both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Attend key Re:Model events.
  • Provide regular feedback on data gathered and present interim findings in May 2021 with recommendations for the second run of Re:Model.
  • Check-in regularly with the project team to flag any emerging issues that could impact the successful delivery of Re:Model.
  • Present final findings to include recommendations for future business support for NI heritage sector in May 2022 at the Re:Model final event.
  • Deliver a final report in June 2022.
  • Contribute to the wider programme evaluation managed by National Lottery Heritage Fund as required.

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

  • Experience of delivering an evaluation of a programme costing £200,000 within the past three years.
  • Experience of creating a data collection framework to evidence outcomes rather than objectives.
  • Details of proposed methodology.
  • Experience of working in the heritage sector.
  • Value for money.
