We are currently recruiting Relief Support Worker's to work with several individuals in their own homes and out in the community.

We are able to offer Relief hours. This will be within the Bangor/Newtownards area.

Flexibility is a must as you will need to be available to work across various shifts to include; days, evenings, and weekends. Shifts can be discussed in more detail at interview stage.

You will be working in Supported Living and Community support services which will be supporting individuals to build their independent living skills such as maintaining their tenancy, building and maintaining positive relationships, accessing their community and with personal care.

We are looking for people who are trustworthy, caring, inclusive and enthusiastic about putting people with a learning disability at the heart of everything they do. We also ask that you are positive and are certainly not afraid to challenge the wrong ways of thinking about learning disability. Experience within the care sector is an advantage but not essential as we will give you all the training needed to be able to start your new and rewarding career.

These roles require you to be self-motivated, have excellent time management and communication skills as well as proven experience of working effectively within a team.

An enhanced disclosure check and registration with NISCC will be required if successful.

As a Support Worker, flexibility is key for both yourself and for the service, as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts throughout the week, including mornings (ideal for you early risers!), evenings and sleep-ins. The best thing about flexibility? It's a two-way street. While we may require that you work a variety of shifts, we also understand that you’ll have your own requirements – have you got commitments on a Thursday? Not to worry, we can factor this in, as well as other requests (provided you give us enough notice) into our rotas.
