The Regeneration Officer will:
Work with the Market Development Association (MDA) manager, staff and Management Committee to deliver the strategic objectives and outcomes of the organisation.
Be responsible to the Management Committee for the initiation, development and management of physical, economic and environmental regeneration projects in the Market Community of South Belfast.
To coordinate the delivery of technical and specialist support for these projects.
To seek and acquire funding for various stages of regenerations projects through initiation to completion.
Work with the MDA manager, staff and Management Committee to develop, coordinate and deliver programmes, services and activities that are linked to our regeneration projects and that enhance the lives of Market residents and improve identified outcomes.
Proactively engage with key external stakeholders to maximise regeneration activity and to communicate regeneration plans to appropriate audiences.
Report to the Management Committee providing a professional service that enables the Committee to fulfil strategic management responsibilities and deliver the MDA’s strategic objectives.
Meet the targets and actions within the Inner South Belfast Neighbourhood Partnership Action Plan.
Responsible for managing the administrative tasks of the organisation.
