Readvertisement: Local Coordinator (Belfast/Lisburn) Changing Lives Initiative

The Changing Lives initiative is an exciting and challenging multi-jurisdictional partnership funded under the EU Interreg VA Programme until 2020. In Belfast, delivery of the initiative is led by Colin Neighbourhood Partnership (CNP) as part of its early intervention programme. CNP works closely with its other partners: the Genesis Project in County Louth; NHS Highlands (Scotland) in Argyll & Bute; Archways in Dublin; and Dundalk Institute of Technology. Although CNP is based in the Colin area of Belfast, the initiative is delivered widely in communities across Belfast and Lisburn.

The purpose of the Changing Lives initiative is to model a new intervention focused on delivery of the manualised Incredible Years Programme, involving parents whose children are considered to be at risk of ADHD.

The Local Coordinator will have day to day responsibility for the Changing Lives Initiative in Colin/Belfast, as part of CNP’s wider Early Intervention programme. The Local Coordinator will manage a small project team, build relationships with a wide range of agencies, and coordinate and help to deliver information workshops and training to parents, education and health professionals. The Local Coordinator will already be an experienced practitioner in delivery of the Incredible Years Basic Parent Programme. Knowledge of ADHD will be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given as required.
