Project Worker - AMH MensSana/AMH everyBODY

The overall purpose of the post is to provide support and information services to people regarding mental health promotion, eating disorders/ positive body image and suicide and self-harm prevention.  Your aim will be to develop one’s awareness, knowledge and understanding, and to provide resources and signpost people to effective sources of support when appropriate. The role will involve working with a wide variety of organisations across the SHSCT area.

Essential criteria includes:-

Educated to A Level/ RQF Level 3 or equivalent in a related discipline (health, education/training or social care sector)

Paid or voluntary experience of working with people with mental health needs, eating disorder or disadvantaged groups.

Experience in developing and extending relevant networking opportunities

Experience of delivering training in a group setting

Current full driving licence, valid in the UK and access to a car on appointment or access to a form of transport which will permit them to carry out the duties and requirements of the post in full.
