Project Officer - Inclusion Matters

The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:
Role: Project Officer – Inclusion Matters REF: 20-146-PO-IM-SEHSCT-WEB
The overall aim of the Inclusion Matters service is to offer support to enable people with physical disabilities and brain injury living in the Lisburn area to engage in activities in their local community.
Hours: 18 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust area (Lisburn area)
Salary: Starting on £23,080 pro rata per annum
Essential Criteria:
- RQF Level 6 (e.g. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification;
And
- Minimum of one year’s paid experience in the direct provision of education, training or support.
OR
- Minimum RQF 4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline;
And
- Minimum of three year’s paid experience as above.
- Proficiency in IT skills, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with good organisational, communication & interpersonal skills
- Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and Ireland and have access to a car on appointment.*
*This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable applicant who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full.
Desirable Criteria:
- Qualification in Health & Social Care, Social Sciences, Education, Training & Employment, Community Work
- Experience & understanding of the barriers in relation to disability
