Project Manager/Senior Counsellor (Fixed Term until 31st December 2021)

Need to Talk is a five-year (2017 - 2021) cross border counselling and confidence building project, delivered through a partnership between RNIB in Northern Ireland and Scotland, and Fighting Blindness in the Republic of Ireland. The €1.8million project is funded by the European Union's INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
Our Need to Talk team support adults and young people over the age of eleven who are blind or partially sighted, and anyone who supports a person with sight loss, to access the emotional and practical support they need to adapt to life with sight loss.
We are looking for a professionally qualified senior counsellor with management experience to join our project team. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of Need to Talk across Northern Ireland, Border counties of Republic of Ireland and Western Scotland. You will provide dedicated project and clinical management and leadership to the project team ensuring all service levels set are achieved within the budget and funding parameters across the three partner nations.
