Project Coordinator, "Way2Go" Project (Fixed Term position until 31st March 2019, with possible extension until 30th June 2019)

The aim of the Way2Go Project, which has been funded by the Big Lottery Fund, is to reduce the harm to individuals, families and communities directly affected by alcohol misuse. Based: Belfast or Omagh, travel required across N. Ireland

We wish to appoint a Project Co-ordinator who will be able to

 

  • Provide a suitable response to the beneficiaries of the Way2Go Project, through appropriate management structures and systems that meets the needs of service users, funding bodies and stakeholders of the project
  • Deliver the service in line with the outcomes identified in the Way2Go Business Plan.
  • Act in a professional, proactive capacity that will contribute to the strategic objectives of the organisation in enhancing the well being of its service users through a network of support.

 

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)

  • A Relevant Professional Qualification or degree in the field of Addictions (minimum NVQ Level IV or equivalent)
  • A current driving licence with access to a car. (Can be waived in the case of applicant whose disability prohibits driving, but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements).
  • A Management qualification
  • Three years proven track record of working within a housing and/or drug and alcohol related service.
  • Three years proven project management experience including people management responsibility.
  • IT skills
