PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Title: Project Coordinator  

Responsible to: Programs Manager 

Hours: 16 hours per week, incl.  occasional weekend (2 x trips)  and evening work ( 2 Friday nights per month) 

Salary: £10.00 per hour 

Location: 1-3 Graham Gardens, Lisburn, BT28 1XE

Main Purpose of Job

The purpose of the job will primarily be, in adherence with the Peace IV Action Plan, to develop the cultutral community work of LCC Community Trust, mainly the Celebrating Diversity project and to operate and maintain administration involved in the project.  

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. To assist in administrative duties and sourcing information relevant to the role of Project Coordinator for LCC Community Trust and Celebrating Diversity.

     2. To recruit participants to project and facilitate events and presenters and catering. 

3. To liaise and establish networks with parallel organisations or community projects that hold similar goals weredeemed appropriate.

4. To source accredited training and education in conjunction with the aims of the project.  Both for personal advancement and for the advancement of developing projects.

5. To maintain an administrative function in relation to delivery of the Celebrating Diversity Project. 

6. To document and report to appropriate bodies the necessary records relevant to the projects.

7. To record and report on all activities undertaken.
