Purpose of the job

To promote and raise the profile and awareness of the work of Leonard Cheshire in Northern Ireland & Isle of Man to a diverse range of audiences across the private, statutory and charitable sectors, developing a targeted communications plan for the areas.

About the Role

You will drive promotion and awareness of the work of Leonard Cheshire in Northern Ireland & Isle of Man to a diverse range of audiences across the private, statutory and charitable sectors, developing a targeted communications plan for both areas.

You will liaise with internal teams and manage relationships with local media, political representatives and donors, supporting local service managers to raise our profile in their areas.

About You

You will have previous experience in communications, PR and public affairs. You will have good experience of achieving targets, producing content for digital and print media and have excellent networking skills.

You will have a genuine commitment to the values and ethos of Leonard Cheshire and be excited by this opportunity to make a difference to the lives of people with disabilities.
