We have these vacancies within our Family Support and Self Directed Support Services in Bangor:

Personal Assistants

£8.50 per hour

Must be available Mondays 2:45pm-5:30pm

Shifts are as and when required. Contracted hours may be available for those able to commit to regular and consistent support. Support hours will be between 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday.

 Some weekend work will be required and flexibility to do so would be expected.

You will support adults and/or children with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autistic spectrum condition to take part in activities which meet their individual needs and aspirations. We provide social opportunities and a range of activities such as arts and crafts, cookery, swimming, sports, eating out, accompanying the people we support to the cinema or soft play area, bowling, and going to the shops. We pride ourselves on being a person centred service and therefore our activities are planned around the likes, interests and abilities of the people we support.

You will need

• Experience of supporting individuals with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autistic spectrum condition
• Must be willing to get into the swimming pool and be confident in the water to support at swimming activities.
• A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business purposes* to transport people supported
