Personal Assistant to CEO

The purpose of the job will primarily be, to support CEO and ensure day to day operations run smoothly. As personal assistant (PA) you will work closely with senior managerial staff and board members to provide administrative and practical support.

Main Purpose of Job

You will help the CEO to make the best use of their time to ensure their day runs smoothly by dealing with issues arising along with secretarial and administrative tasks.

As PA you need to have extensive knowledge of the organisation. You will need to know who key personnel are, both external and internal, and understand the aims and objectives of LCC Community Trust.

The CEO will rely heavily on their PA, trusting that work will be handled efficiently in their absence. Discretion and confidentiality are therefore essential attributes of a successful PA.

About the Team

The right person will be joining a small but busy ‘extra mile’ team, dealing with a range of complex and confidential issues, supporting people across our community. We have a small team of staff and an army of volunteers working tirelessly to ensure no one in our city goes hungry or struggles alone. We are passionate about our work, our city and providing a safe place for people to receive support for a variety of needs. The right person needs to not only have the skills to fulfil the role but a passion for helping others.

 

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone with solid experience of administration work, the ability to manage their time effectively and excellent communication skills. You will need to be organised and practical and enjoy working in a team environment. This is a challenging role so we’re really looking for someone with solid experience as a PA. We need someone who is comfortable with communicating with people at all levels, and has good attention to detail. The nature of our work is person centred to offer support to the most vulnerable in our community therefore the right person must possess empathy and compassion.
