Operations Director

The role purpose:

To lead on the sustainable development and growth of MindWise’s Operational portfolio.

• To provide strategic leadership and management to the Operational Team.
• To sustainably develop and grow MindWise’s and MHUK’s operational portfolio.
• To lead on Client participation and engagement strategies.
• To proactively support the strategic direction of the organisation as a member of the Directors Team
• To lead on change management initiatives in a complex environment.

Key objectives for the post:

• To develop, maintain and cultivate good relationships with key stakeholders (clients; commissioners, partners and wider public.
• To provide robust financial management of the operational portfolio
• Provide strategic leadership and management to the Operational Management Team
• Lead on our commitment to continuous improvement

Experience and knowledge required:

• Hold a third level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent
• Minimum of five years’ experience at a senior management level, in a relevant field.
• Experience of leading on quality improvement initiatives internally and as required by external bodies.
• Experience in managing complex budgets and income streams to achieve best values
• Experience of influencing, negotiating, representing and networking with external stakeholders
