The NIWBG seeks a Coordinator to join pioneering work on gender budgeting in Northern Ireland.

The NIWBG seeks a Coordinator to join pioneering work on gender budgeting in Northern Ireland, working to the NIWBG Board and collaborating with sister organisations in Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland. The role will coordinate and promote the NIWBG’s work, increase knowledge on gender budgeting, bring influence to bear in policy and political arenas and support the NIWBG Board in implementing good governance.

Essential Criteria

Candidates will need to demonstrate on the application form and, if invited, at interview that they have the knowledge, skills and experience that evidence their ability to meet each of the following essential criteria:

  • Gender equality: delivering the NIWBG's mission of securing a gender sensitive economy.
  • Public policy making: contributing effectively to policy development.
  • Governance and coordination: planning and delivering projects effectively.
  • Networking and influencing: successful collaboration and advocacy with key stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Communication and promotion: effective communication with stakeholders and audiences using a range of communication tools.
