Northern Ireland Environment Link – Policy & Projects Officer

The main purpose of this role is :

– to support and develop NIEL’s policy work so that the organisation as a whole can influence regional, UK and international policy which can impact upon the natural and built environment of Northern Ireland.

– Help develop a ‘Nature Targets Advocacy Campaign’ aimed at influencing the development of the UK’s negotiating position for the Convention on Biological Diversity COP 15 negotiations.

The post is temporary 6 – 9months. Secondments will be considered for this post. This recruitment exercise will be used to fill related posts over the coming 12 months. This post is funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
