WSN are delighted to announce that funding has been secured through the Rosa UK Fund for Women and Girls – Justice and Equality Fund and we are now recruiting for the following position: RCNI Manager

Job Summary:

The Manger will be responsible for the development, co-ordination and delivery of a Rape Crisis Service for Northern Ireland.  The post holder will ensure the growth and sustainability of the service through the provision of a professional, safe, high quality and culturally appropriate service for all victims/survivors of sexual violence. 

Role Description:

  • To be responsible for the management, development and co-ordination of the Rape Crisis NI Service (RCNI)
  • Management of service delivery, including the provision of:
    • Services to survivors of sexual violence
    • Prevention and campaigning work
    • Work with Women’s Centres and other agencies to improve service responses to survivors of sexual violence
  • Provide sound financial planning and management, including funding applications to ensure sustainability of the service and delivery on agreed and future plans
  • Establish and develop RCNI’s role and reputation in the field of service provision for survivors
  • Responsible for line management and the training of staff and volunteers including CPD
  • Development of service and strategic planning to deliver agreed objectives
  • Prepare and implement annual business/operational plans and systems to effectively monitor and evaluate progress and standard of services
  • Ensure excellent working relationships and referral pathways, links and protocols with Women’s Centres, partner organisations, voluntary, statutory, health, criminal justice agencies and national organisations working to combat sexual violence
  • Oversee service delivery by staff and volunteers with a view to meeting Rape Crisis National Service Standards (RCNSS) and funder requirements within a culture of continuous improvement
