Macmillan Benefits Adviser

The successful candidate will be part of a Northern Ireland wide team of benefits specialists providing an advice service, primarily welfare benefits, with an emphasis on income maximisation to people experiencing cancer, their immediate family members and carers. 

This will involve working with health care professionals and other cancer service staff who may refer into the project. 

The post-holders will work between local advice offices in Lurgan & Portadown, at Craigavon Hospital and across Northern Ireland via telephone.

Candidates must have at least 12 months experience delivering benefits advice in a social welfare setting and have completed an accredited adviser training programme or equivalent.
