Leisure Centre Supervisor FTC

GLL are recruiting for a Leisure Centre Supervisor to work on a 9 month fixed term contract at Ballysillan Leisure Centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a leisure centre, you'll ensure the health, safety and enjoyment of customers and colleagues alike. We're looking people who are passionate about the leisure industry. So, if you're looking for a desk job, this isn't for you - as there's no such thing as a typical day as Leisure Centre supervisor. That's what makes the role so special. In this role, you could be doing anything from unlocking the leisure centre and setting up, to ordering supplies and checking everything is perfect for your customers. Then, once the day is in full swing, you'll ensure it's all running as it should be - handling customer queries, managing your team and ensuring the successful operation of the gym, pool and other facilities. Your own development is just as important, as we'll train you to sharpen your skills in this diverse role. If you're a fast-thinker who's calm under pressure, responsible and a natural with people from all walks of life, this is your chance to progress.

We also look for a can-do attitude, health and safety knowledge, and a customer service focus, combined with relevant professional qualifications such as NPLQ, PPO (desirable), Pool Management Qualification, FAAW.

This is a really exciting time to be joining the team in Belfast to work in one of our Leisure Centres. We are embarking on the largest public leisure investment anywhere in the UK over the coming year. Working closely in partnership with Belfast City Council you can be part of a £105 million investment package that will rival any European city's leisure offer.

Leisure Transformation will see first class centres being built which are state of the art and offer access for all. This will include some unique and new products to our portfolio which will change the face of leisure in the city. Investment will also continue in existing centres so that we can deliver excellent customer service and provide a warm welcome to local communities and visitors from far and wide.
