Learning & Development Officer

The post will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of the Learning to Let project.  This is an established project (now in its 3rd year) to provide accredited training to registered landlords and letting agents to support improved practice in the private rented sector.  Participants complete the CIH Level 2 Award in Letting and Managing Residential Property through either a taught, online or blended approach.

The L & D Officer is responsible for managing and promoting the schedule of courses, some tutoring and assessment, recruitment and supporting learners, recruiting and co-ordination of additional tutors, overseeing the completion of assessments and organising the verification and quality audit processes.  Other duties include administration of the courses including processing registration’s to the CIH Housing Academy, monitoring attendance and reporting against targets, internally and to funders.  

Knowledge and/or experience of the private rented sector is key to the role.  Experience of co-ordinating and delivering learning in an adult setting through taught and online programmes would be beneficial.  Full induction and training into the learning programme requirements will be provided.
