People tell us they need emotional and practical support during their cancer journey and they want help locally. Macmillan offers a volunteer-led Community Helper services in a number of areas. You would be part of a small team of 2-3 Lead Volunteers who co-ordinate a group of up to 10 Community Helper volunteers providing support to people affected by cancer. Interviews will be held and training and support provided. Initial training will take place on August 10th & 28th 2019.

- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills (including IT skills)
- Reliable and honest
- Passion, and an ability to motivate others
- Ability to work independently, making appropriate use of support and guidance
- Commitment to accessing training and engaging with support & supervision process
