Health Promotion Officer - Well Checks (2 posts)

You will be a health promotion professional who is passionate and committed to prevention, early detection and empowering people to lead a healthy and active life to stay well. The role will have major focus on delivering Health Checks (known in NICHS as Well Checks) and health promotion advice to individuals across Northern Ireland (NI) to identify and reduce risk of developing cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. The main remit of this role is:

• Delivering personal and confidential health checks and health advice for individuals
• Delivering presentations, health talks, workshops and training programmes for groups
• Delivering other health promotion services and activities for children and young people and other priority groups, when required and in line with our health promotion plans
• Helping to grow our engagement and impact with our chest heart and stroke community and working with other internal teams/services.
• Contributing to the development, planning, delivery, marketing and evaluation of our health promotion programme and products
