Brooke House is seeking to recruit to the following post. HEALTH AND WELLBEING COORDINATOR Hours: 37.5 hours per week or job share may also be considered. An attractive salary will be offered.

Brooke House is an Ely Centre Project, funded by HM Treasury through the Libor grant scheme. The project seeks to support Retired RUC Officers and their families, Military Veterans and their families from the three services.

Brooke House is seeking to recruit to the following post.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING COORDINATOR

Hours: 37.5 hours per week or job share may also be considered.

Salary: An attractive salary will be offered, commensurate with the experience of the successful candidate.

Duration: The post is available on a Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2021, with possibility of extension depending on funding. A waiting list for future vacancies will also be compiled.

Base: The post will be based at Colebrooke Park, Brookeborough, BT94 4DW.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate experience in a minimum of 4 of the 6 areas outlined below one of which must be criteria 1:

  1. Working directly with mental health conditions and interventions;
  2. Undertaking risk assessment and management;
  3. Working with vulnerable adults;
  4. Developing and/or delivering training in mental health topics;
  5. Developing and maintaining working partnerships with a range of stakeholders;
  6. using a range of Microsoft packages e.g. word, excel, access, databases.

Preference may be given to candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  1. Experience working in an acute or rehabilitation setting;
  2. A qualification in Social work or Nursing or Psychology.
  3. Registration with the relevant Body/Council.
  4. Experience of paid work in relevant field under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
  5. Knowledge /experience of the complexities of working with a veteran/ex-service client group.
