Role

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, this post plays a key role in ensuring the Hospice demonstrates organisational excellence in all our activities from the bedside to the boardroom and across all functions. The post holder ensures that NIH operates in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations and contractual obligations.  The post holder ensures all information for external reporting requirements to statutory bodies e.g.: RQIA, ICO, Charities Commission, Fundraising Regulator etc. are delivered on time, paying attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.

The post holder is responsible for modernising internal governance, risk and performance management systems and processes, including technological solutions for monitoring performance indicators and measurements, which ensure all aspects of NIH activities meet statutory guidance and good practice. He/she will analyse data informatics, providing clear and accurate reports including statistics and qualitative information to the Corporate Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. The role is responsible for reporting on risk and service performance, escalating matters of concern to service leaders and supporting solutions to address areas for improvement.
