Freelance Self Employed Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Mentors - Coleraine

£27 Per Hour
ASD mentors help students navigate the challenges of academic life, including motivation and goal setting, planning and organization, study and exam skills, managing stress and anxiety, as well as social interactions.

We are seeking to recruit ASD mentors to support students while studying with Ulster University.  Please note that you will expected to be available to meet students face to face on campus.

Essential criteria include

  • Experience of providing study skills tuition at FE/HE level
  • Professional or voluntary experience of working with people with Autism
  • Excellent written and communication skills and ability to relate to students on a one to one basis using exceptional interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of the responsibilities associated with maintaining confidentiality and an awareness of the requirements under data protection
  • All successful candidates will be expected to complete an Access NI (enhanced disclosure) check
  • Flexibility over working hours
