Floating Support Worker, Belfast (FSWB.R1.01)

To implement a floating support service to homeless families and singles over 18 years old who are, or who have been experiencing housing difficulties and related issues.

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)

 

  • Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
  • NVQ Level III (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care OR relevant equivalent qualification in Social Work, Community Work or Housing Care
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience providing support to families and singles over 18 years old in particular those with substance misuse issues, mental health issues and those at risk of offending behaviour
  • A valid driving licence and access to a car.  (if disability prohibits driving, the applicant must be able to organise suitable alternative arrangements)
  • IT skills
