Fitness Class Lead

GLL is looking for a Fitness Class Instructor Lead (part time 20 hours) to deliver a fun, safe and effective fitness programme across our leisure centres within Belfast, Northern Ireland. Our fitness programmes are the third largest attended activity within GLL, running over 4,000 classes a week and, attracting 3 million customers.  

As a Fitness Class Instructor Lead, you'll have ownership and accountability for the fitness programme at the centre whilst working closely with the Health and Fitness Lead and the General Manager. No two days will be the same, as you'll be evaluating classes and responding to customer comments one day to updating the website and hosting events the next. You'll provide an experience and service that our customers love, as the fitness class programme can create a buzz around the centre from customers achieving their goals and ambitions. Introducing new ideas can be challenging, so you'll need to be passionate about your programme and inspire others to help you achieve your goals. 

Your passion for fitness classes and the positive results they bring will help you to increase participation at your centre. Experience of delivering fitness classes and managing a successful programme will be beneficial. You'll have excellent industry knowledge and strong organisational and communication skills as you'll interact with members, instructors and management. You will need to have experience and qualifications to teach a range of disciplines along with Level 2 Exercise to Music, Yoga or Pilates Level 3.
