FINANCE OFFICER

Full Time, Permanent

As Finance Officer you will support the Finance Team in the management and maintenance of our Organisational Finance and take responsibility for accurate recording and reporting of the charity’s finance functions, and to support management and staff in dealing with finance issues.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION – ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY POST HOLDER:

CRITERIA 1:

  • 1 years’ experience in an Finance Environment AND
  • A Financial Qualification

OR

  • 3 years’ experience in an Finance Environment

CRITERIA 2:

  • Experience of purchase ledger and sales ledger work

CRITERIA 3:

  • Knowledge of financial accounting software packages in particular Sage Payroll and Sage 50 Accounts

CRITERIA 4:

  • Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience of working in the Voluntary sector

 

Salary: £18,838 - £20,638 per annum and pension at 4% of salary
