To provide financial and accounting support to the Cedar Foundation finance function and overseeing the day to day running of the finance department.

The Cedar Foundation deliver a range of services that enable people with disabilities, autism and brain injury to get the most out of life and to be fully included in their communities. Our services are centred around the individual needs of each person and are delivered throughout Northern Ireland supporting children and adults to live, work and to engage in their communities.

Due to rapid continual growth and development, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join our team:

Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Salary: £27,905 - £32,878 per annum on a seven point scale

Contract: Permanent (Mon-Fri)

Location: 31 Ulsterville Avenue, Belfast

Essential:

  • Qualified accountant  (CIMA, ACA, CIPFA or ACCA)
  • At least 2 years experience of management in a finance function within a large diverse organisation with multiple income streams and cost centres
  • Experience in managing and mentoring staff

Desirable:

  • Experience in working for a large not for profit organisation
  • Experience of completion of grant claims
  • Knowledge of ISO systems
