The Role
The Finance Executive will manage Oxfam Ireland’s direct debit and credit card Electronic Fund’s Transfers (EFT’s) process. The successful candidate will undertake the reconciliation and reallocation of all fundraising income from all financial avenue streams (direct debits, standing orders, credit card donations, legacies, one off donations etc.) to support the Public Engagement Department in meeting financial targets and maximise income opportunities, while supporting the delivery of Oxfam Ireland’s main financial aims and objectives. They will also review and process staff expenses and purchase invoices as necessary.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of using Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Excel to manipulate data and produce reports.
- Self-starter with experience of working to deadlines and demonstrable ability to use initiative, work independently, and prioritise a diverse workload effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a team in order to meet deadlines effectively and efficiently.
- Highly numerate with the ability to produce accurate information and reports to set deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written English) and demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt during a period of change.
