Fields of Life Chief Executive Officer

Role
The CEO will be responsible and accountable for the organisation’s performance: a leader driven by faith and committed to the provision of quality programmes and community-based projects in East Africa.
The CEO will lead a team of more than 45 staff and will inspire and motivate organisational excellence to achieve Fields of Life’s goals, as well as through building strong, positive and enduring stakeholder, volunteer and partner relationships.
Skills and Competencies
They will build on their track record of leading change, building business and growing revenue and will use their high level financial and strategic planning / reporting skills. Proven communication and presentation skills are key, as is the ability to develop strong and influential relationships across the public, private and third sectors. Importantly, the individual’s values will align with Fields of Life’s evangelical Christian vision, mission and values and will be sensitive to cross-cultural communication. They will demonstrate strong people leadership skills and be able to inspire and develop diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
