Family Mentor - Community Family Support Programme (Omagh)

Customized Training Services wish to employ a Family Mentor for their ‘Community Family Support Programme’ (CFSP), based in CTS Omagh Office.

You will work alongside the Career Mentor to aid individuals address health, social and economic concerns with the aim of entering further training and/or gaining employment.  You will be required to design and deliver life skills programmes, for example, Cook-it; sexual health; money management; life-coaching; etc.  Proven experience of conducting home visits and understanding safeguarding policies and procedures is essential.

You will be qualified to a minimum Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Health, Social Care, social work, family support or other relevant discipline.  As above you are required to have a Level 3 Qualification in Advice and Guidance, mentoring, coaching or counselling and 5 GCSE (or equivalent) including Maths, English and ICT.

A proven ability to prepare action plans with SMART outcomes, and the ability to work well as part of a team with a results orientated and collaborative approach necessary.  Skilled in the use of Microsoft office packages and in the analyses and interpretation of statistics, is essential, as is the possession of a current driving licence.
