Families Together Counsellor (Antrim)

Parenting NI

Parenting NI is the lead partner in Families Together, a Big Lottery funded project. The post holder will be required to deliver face to face counselling within the Families Together Project across the Antrim area.

Essential Criteria Includes:

  • Diploma in Counselling or higher counselling qualification or equivalent
  • 150 hours supervised counselling practice
  • A minimum of 1 year’s counselling experience of working with individuals (parents or other adults) on a one to one basis through a support process (this must include continuous / regular contact)

Hours:          5.5 hours per week 9.15am to 2.45pm (either Mon, Tue, Wed or Thu to be agreed) plus additional hours each month for managerial and clinical supervision

Grade:          Band 5 Point 16

Salary:          £21,683 per annum FTE (£11.27 per hour)

Contract:      Funded until December 2020 with a possibility of a further 2 years funding
